Wind Chill:
A measure of the cooling effect of wind on PEOPLE. Wind increases the body heat loss rate, so the wind makes you feel cooler than the temperature indicated by a thermometer. This heat loss can be calculated by using wind speed and temperature to provide a wind chill equivalent temperature (or wind chill factor). Remember to use your expected riding speed. |
